Marco and Danny dig back into the text to review and discuss marriage and singleness. They dig a bit into cultural issues that impact the text and also the need for believers to not impose law upon others where the Scripture does not speak.

Danny and Marco meet up over Zoom to discuss Sunday's sermon, digging deeper into topics like, "Does adultery automatically permit divorce?" "What does it mean for the divorced believer to be free?" and "Why are we so tempted toward rules/law?" You also get a glimpse at how chaotic LifeGroup leadership looks for them!

Aww....snap. Danny and Marco continue the theme of "don't get fired," as they talk about the sermon from the day before. Some things they tackle were: how does Grace respond to sexual abuse, should parents disciple their kids toward marriage or singleness, and how does the church take sexual sin seriously and yet remind people that there is mercy and forgiveness available in Christ. Then, they both have a little time to reflect on the joy they both have watching each others' kids.

Jason jumps in the rumble seat to discuss with Danny his sermon from a couple of days before. They dive into how to counsel/care for someone who is struggling with sexual sin, a brief time where Kerns lost his train of thought (but we plowed through) and how we look at Scripture is impacted by how we view God (and vice versa). Overall, they had fun and I don't believe Jason was "fustrated."

Shew....Danny and Marco cover a lot of ground reviewing Sunday's sermon. Together, they discuss Christian liberties, church discipline, abuses of grace, and ways we are deceived by our sin, and by the messages of the world. They even address a potential misunderstanding of part of Marco's message.

Ben rides shotgun as he and Danny discuss Sunday's sermon, tackling a quote from Vince Lombardi, Ben's inexperience as a card player, the NBA trade deadline...but then, other things that actually matter like "Is it wrong for a Christian to ever go to court?" "Must the Christian always play the role of being the doormat to others?" and "How can I reconcile disagreements"

Special guest! Despite a very full schedule, Brandon was able to join Danny and Marco to discuss his sermon from the morning before. Together they discuss how forgiveness should lead to reverence but not toxic fear, the beauty of the Psalmist referring to God as LORD and Lord, and the need to be in the Word even while (maybe especially while) we wait. Brandon also explains the term "catching babies" and gives his prediction for the big game!

Marco and Danny break down the sermon from Sunday, answering a couple of texted in questions (Why wasn't the woman addressed? Has Paul received a letter from the church before he wrote his?) as well as jumping in to look at the issue of church discipline as well as the importance of attending church and not just streaming (with healthy and able).

Ben and Danny break down Ben's sermon from the day before. We cover topics like Paul sending Timothy (and some Corinthians getting a little arrogant about that), whether it's ok to refer to someone as your father, how to pursue discipleship and the nature of the rod and staff in shepherding. They also discuss how you can be imitation worthy, even when you sin.
