We're baaaaack...

We make up for a few weeks off by going WAY into "penalty minutes." First, the podcast starts off with discussing the text, including questions like, "If feeling struggles to come on board with doctrine, does that mean we are actually lacking faith?" "How can the way the world labels sin patterns actually get in the way of us overcoming faith?" and Marco asks Danny to give some examples from his own life on presenting himself for righteousness, rather than sin.

Then, we go "bonus mode" by offering some follow-up thoughts and applications from Danny's discussion of the Dobb's decision in the Supreme Court, that he shared on July 3.

Marco and Danny break down some of the sermon from Sunday as we get back into Romans. Marco also recaps his sermon from John 4, which he preached at another church. Lastly, they jump back to Acts 1 and answer a question that was texted in about using how to use our personal testimony in a way that doesn't sound like "my truth" as people today will quickly accept.

Tim Berry and Danny sit on the porch (sorry about the traffic noise) and unpack Tim's sermon from our Core Values series on "Engage." They address issues like "enjoying God" and even how the British culture may be previewing for us what is to come in the US (and why you don't need to panic about that).
